Trains, Cigarettes, Love, Trains

Love & Trains and its color palette draw inspiration from the works of Wong Kar Wai, aiming to evoke a spectrum of emotions. Deep green, a color of remarkable complexity, serves as a conduit for varied interpretations, resonating uniquely with each observer. Within this piece, I sought to convey two primary emotions: admiration and fear. The admiration one feels for a loved one is juxtaposed with the fear of separation, even if temporary. These sentiments are vividly present in the bustling scenes of train stations and airports, where emotions run high. To me, these locales symbolize a potent blend of love, sadness, excitement, and melancholy—a tapestry of contrasting yet intensely felt emotions.
